I made this track after listening to Namida no Yesterday by Garnet Crow on loop for an embarassing amount of time. The prominent piano presence - especially in the bassline - inspired what at the time I could only describe as "wistful funk." Ultimately, this piece turned into a concept track about a classic RPG about dance-battles.
